This custom home at 3112 Cornell Avenue in Highland Park, is located east of Drexel and just west of Airline Drive, south of St. Johns. Built in 1996, this was the first spec home I built in the highly coveted, fiercely competitive Highland Park market. I purchased and demolished an old home in order to build on this 50×150 prime building lot.
The two-story spec home, which was designed by JM Designs Architects, had approximately 4,255 square feet of air-conditioned living area, four bedrooms, three and one-half bathrooms, three living areas, two dining areas, and a two-car attached garage. The exterior of this custom home was 100% classic red brick and featured elegant wood casement windows.
