During my almost 30 year career, I built thousands of custom homes, urban townhomes, luxury condominiums, multifamily projects, senior living and active adult projects, niche retirement communities, and high-volume renovation operations. I also developed many of the communities and building lots in which many are built. The residential construction type with which I had the least experience was production homebuilding.

Acquiring the specialized experience needed to be considered an expert in production building began in earnest when I joined DSW Homes in early 2021. Within a couple of years, my accumulated residential construction experience and the intense production building environment in which I was enmeshed left me universally accepted as a very capable production builder.

By the summer of 2022, I was running the #1 largest Build-to-Rent operation in Memphis and the 4th largest homebuilder in Memphis.
